I have in my possession a picture taken in Prospect, CT, on Labor Day
of 1913. This was a gathering of the combined Talmadge and Blackman families,
both of whom had lived in Prospect for several generations. These two families
had joined when my maternal grandmother’s parents Clarence Blackman and Alice
[Talmadge] had married.
Everyone in this picture lived in Prospect, except for those noted in
the family tree section.
